1. Scope

This policy applies to eapesvalidator.com, including the public validator website, rewards calculator, validator metrics, tracking page, and staking entry points. When you leave this site for MultiversX, X, WalletConnect, or other third-party services, their own privacy notices and terms apply.

3. Information We May Process

• Technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, request metadata, browser information, and security logs processed by hosting and network providers.
• Public blockchain information if you connect a wallet or stake EGLD, such as wallet address, delegation activity, transaction hashes, and validator interactions.
• Information you choose to send to us, such as an email address, X handle, message content, or support request.
• Calculator inputs and interface preferences processed in your browser to provide estimates and improve usability.

We will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, wallet password, or recovery phrase. Do not send that information to anyone claiming to represent EAPES VALIDATOR.

4. Purposes

• Operate, maintain, protect, and improve the website.
• Display validator, APR, staking, and network information from MultiversX APIs.
• Provide the rewards calculator and staking entry points.
• Respond to messages, support requests, or legal obligations.
• Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and protect the integrity of the site and users.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The public website does not intentionally use advertising, retargeting, profiling, or analytics cookies. We may use essential browser storage to run the site, remember that you saw the privacy notice, preserve calculator or interface state, and support wallet connection flows that you initiate.

The privacy notice acknowledgement is stored locally in your browser as eapesPrivacyNoticeAccepted. You can remove it by clearing your browser site data. MultiversX wallets, WalletConnect, Cloudflare, X, or other third-party services may use their own cookies or storage when you choose to use them.

If we add non-essential analytics, advertising, geolocation, or profiling technologies later, we will update this policy and provide a clear choice before activating them where required by applicable law.

6. Service Providers and Sharing

We share or expose information only as needed for the purposes above. This may include Cloudflare for hosting, security, DNS, and delivery; MultiversX APIs, Explorer, and wallet services for staking and public network data; WalletConnect or wallet providers when you choose to connect a wallet; and communication platforms such as X or email providers when you contact us.

7. Processing Outside Quebec or Canada

Because blockchain, wallet, hosting, DNS, and security services are distributed, personal information or technical data may be processed outside Quebec or Canada. We limit the information we control and rely on service providers that publish security and privacy practices appropriate for their role.

8. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, legal requirements, security, dispute resolution, or support. Public blockchain records are maintained by the MultiversX network and cannot be deleted by EAPES VALIDATOR.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct, withdraw consent, request deletion, ask about data portability, or complain about how personal information is handled. Contact the Privacy Officer to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec for privacy concerns that cannot be resolved with us.

10. Safeguards and Incidents

We use HTTPS, security headers, limited data collection, and Cloudflare security controls to help protect the site. If we become aware of a confidentiality incident involving personal information that presents a risk of serious injury, we will take appropriate steps, including required notifications and incident records.

11. Minors

This site is intended for users who can lawfully use staking, wallet, and blockchain services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information.

12. Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site, service providers, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by providing a notice on the site.
